Our Inspiration
The Bell Rock Lighthouse, off the coast of Angus, Scotland, is the world’s oldest surviving sea-washed lighthouse. Built between 1807 and 1810, standing 115 ft tall, its light is visible from 56 km inland.
When determining our company’s name we wanted something that reflected ourselves. Something solid and dependable that has stood the test of time.
What better then than to coin the name of the worlds oldest sea washed lighthouse, a beacon of safety and security in often dangerous and troubled waters. Throughout the centuries it has shone light in the darkness, illuminating the right path and helping sailors navigate the stormy seas.
We felt the parallels with the often dangerous and troubled financial markets were very apt, and err.. we’ve been around for a while and survived the odd financial storm ourselves!
